Dr Guy Schofield
Dr Guy Schofield is a palliative medicine trainee in the London Deanery, currently undertaking a PhD as a Wellcome Trust Society and Ethics Fellow in the Centre for Ethics in Medicine at the University of Bristol.
His research interests cover medical ethics, philosophy, palliative care and global health. His PhD examines everyday ethical challenges in specialist palliative care in general, and in Uganda specifically.
He is a member of the APM Ethics committee and teaches ethics, philosophy and global health variously at St George’s’, University of London, the Liverpool School of Topical Medicine, and the Diploma in the Philosophy of Medicine at the Society of the Apothecaries.
