SSAS: The CESR process for prospective/current application and their supervisors (Consultants and SAS Doctors)

I have worked in specialist palliative care for the past 19 years, working between Marie Curie Hospice Liverpool and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital where I am the clinical lead for palliative care.

I am involved in all forms of education including leading on medical undergraduate teaching and post graduate teaching on behalf of both of my places of work.

I am also an advanced communication skills facilitator and regularly teach those skills to all health care professionals.

I have an interest in ethics, completing my Masters in the Ethics of Cancer and Palliative Care in 2002.

I have been a member of the APM SAS Committee for the last 8 years, the last 2 being co-chair of the committee.  I am also a member of the APM Education Committee.

I represent the palliative care SAS doctors at the Cheshire and Mersey side tutors meeting.
