Join fellow delegates for a drink in Purbeck Hall, to continue discussion and debate following the Homeward Bound play. Councillor Eddie Coope, Bournemouth Deputy Mayor is kindly hosting the Civic Reception for delegates. On arrival guests will be welcomed with a glass of wine or a soft drink. Rising Voices Wessex Choir will also be performing at the Reception.

A community choir for people living with and beyond cancer

Rising Voices Wessex aims to link music and health together. Participation in a musical activity has been shown not only to improve wellbeing but also to aid communication at a time when people are struggling to adapt to a diagnosis of cancer.

Rising Voices Wessex an innovative idea which evolved from a ‘Living Well with Cancer’ conference in Dorset in 2012, the choir was formed in 2013.

Rising Voices Wessex Community Choirs is a registered charity in England and Wales (1165053). Members of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations and Arts and Health South West.
